Doctor's Visit

I went to the Doctor today for the first of many visits to come. My official due date is exactly what I figured out to be, May 28, 2009. Am I good or what?! The Doctor did an ultra sound and I got to see the heart beating. Yeah!!! So I decided to put up a ticker to remind everybody how far along I am. I don't know that I like it though. It says I have 216 days to go. That is a long time.

Just In Case You Thought I Was Joking

I had just got Jayde all dressed and ready to go to Fox's baseball game, went into my closet to get a jacket and stuff and hear Fox say he needs to go potty. That's great because maybe he won't need to go during the game. Well I should have known, anytime Fox, or anyone for that matter, needs to go potty, so does Jayde. When I came out of my room I ran into this:

Clothes were in the bathroom, diaper in the garbage can, and Jayde with just her socks and shoes on. I couldn't resist, I had to take a picture.

My Little Stripper

Today as I was trying to get Jayde to take a nap, she decided to throw a HUGE screaming fit. So as I was starting to get really frusterated, I decided to put her in her bed and walk away. She settled down and I went to check on her a little while later and found her like this:

She is my little stripper. She takes her clothes and diaper off just about everyday. Thank heavens she didn't have a poopy diaper.

Pictures at The Rock Ranch

The Rock Ranch

Saturday we went to The Rock Ranch. I guess you might call it a glorified pumpkin patch and we had a great time. There were so many things to do. The kids loved it. Fox keeps saying he wants to go back to "the pumpkin patch" with a lot of toys.

We first got there and decided to pick out some pumpkins so that we weren't too tired at the end of the day to spend time deciding which ones to get. The excitement the kids had in that alone was a fun experience. Jayde tried desperately to pick up some very large pumpkins, but didn't succeed. Then we rode on a trailer hooked to the back of a truck and Fox was so excited about that we had to laugh. I love the simple things that make the kids happy. I really don't want that to end.

The kids got to ride a pony, a cow train, a pedal cart, and the carrousel. We all rode on a train together. They jumped on a giant pillow, played in a corn box, tried out a little bit of cane pole fishing, got their faces painted, and we all got lost in the giant corn maze. Seriously we were stuck in there for at least 45 minutes or so. We saw some pumpkins being shot out of a cannon and last, but not least, we saw a bunch of hot air balloons take flight.

It was really fun to go and spend time there. It is a beautiful ranch with many fun thing to do.

A Little Bit Of News

Shawn and I decided to add a third child into the mix. So after about 1 month of trying, I am happy to report that I am pregnant. I am only about 8 weeks along, so we got a ways to go. My due date is not until the end of May. I am thrilled to be having another baby, but I am not excited about the next 8 months.

My kids are excited, I think. I am pretty sure Fox understands and he already says he wants a baby brother. Go figure. Don't boys usually always say that? It seems that as soon as we found out that I am pregnant, my kids decided to fight and scream and yell at eachother more than ever. What is with that? I seriously wonder why I am even having another one sometimes.

Even so, we are excited and anxious to have another little one running around.

Back From Utah Again

I just liked this picture of Jayde and Fox

Here is Jayde on the airplane.

We got home late Monday night from our little visit to Utah. I will spare you the boring details this time except to say that we love seeing family members, however brief it may be. I will tell you about how much our kids love grandma Vicki's dogs though. Our kids cannot get enough of them when we visit. They love dogs and the only time they really get to play with dogs is when we go to Utah. We do not own a dog and will not be getting a dog anytime soon because Shawn is allergic and I don't think that I would be a very good pet owner. So even though Shawn may get a little irritated about the dogs, we do love that the kids get to play with them and have a little fun time with them.
Fox told me that it would be nice if we could bring one home with us. He came up with that all by himself.

Here is a little video of Jayde playing with one of the dogs in her cage.

We had fun and can't wait till Thanksgiving now.
