Jayde is 3
Tuesday was Jayde's 3rd birthday. I asked Jayde what she wanted to do for her special day, but she didn't have anything specific in mind. So I asked her if she wanted to do her hair. I was shocked she excitedly said YEAH! After we got her all dolled up she got a phone call from Grandma. She loves talking on the phone.
She loves to get her fingernails and toenails painted, so I suggested we do that and she also wanted to paint mine.

Finally it came time for presents. Here she is anxiously waiting to open them.
If she loves anything, it is dolls.

Sketchers!!!
For the past 4 months Fox has wanted Sketchers in a bad way. After 2 months of begging for them, I thought to myself, 'he is never going to give this up.' So I decided he could earn the money for them. Well 2 months of hard work finally paid off. Here is his chart for earning enough money to get the sketchers.
Ready to go pay for them.
This picture just does my heart good. He is so proud to be able to pay for his shoes all by himself.
He is now the proud owner of his very own SKETCHERS!
Fox is so excited about his Sketchers. He did a little kick dance showing off his shoes to his grandma and grandpa, cousins and aunt Tiffany. He also asked grandpa Ralph if he wanted some sketchers too. Grandpa, making Fox feel good, said yeah, I want some. So Fox told him he would make a CHORT for him to earn the money to get some. Fox also set his sketchers by grandpa while he was working on our door frame so that grandpa could look at them while he did his work. I guess that was to give grandpa a little incentive to get some work done.Saturday, November 7, 2009
Another season over
Everytime I told Fox to go get his baseball uniform on, Jayde would get one of his other ones on as well. I have found out that she is ready to play ball, or so she thinks,
until she sees...
DIRT!!!
I asked her tonight if I was her best friend and she said, "and Fox too"!!!

Halloween 2009
Fox (Ironman), Dax (Chunky Monkey), and Jayde (Ladybug Princess)
Boston, Jayde, Brityn, Fox, Dax and Corbin
For weeks I have been hearing Jayde ask, "Can we go to Halloween? PLEASE?!!" Finally the day arrived and the kids were so excited. Unfortunately they had to wait ALL DAY LONG before they could 'Go To Halloween' as Jayde puts it.
Anticipating what would surely be an exciting adventure we got on the golf cart with Kevin, Tiffany, and Boston and we were off to go trick or treating. What a site it was to see Fox, Jayde and Boston running from door to door having such a good time. Fox ran so fast I thought he was going to run people over while Jayde was holding on to her hat hoping it wouldn't fall off. I wish I had a picture of that, but it was a little rainy that night so I didn't take the camera.
Jayde, what a little trooper she is. She was having so much fun. She tried so hard to keep up with Fox and Boston, but that was a little tricky as they are much faster than she is. I think she must have thought that we would leave her if she didn't get back to the golf cart as quickly as the boys did. As she was running back to us as fast as she could possibly run, she tripped and fell and did a face plant into the lawn. Shawn hurried to see if she was ok and the first thing she said to Shawn was, "Will you help me get my candy?" Never mind that she fell face first into the the wet grass, but is my candy all there?
Relieved that she is ok we went on our way. At the next house, down she went again. Still no crying came of it because all was well in the candy world. However, she didn't get up to the door in time for the person handing out candy to see her and the door got shut before she received her share of the goods. Now she started crying. Shawn had to help her up to the door.
After a few more falls and one lost shoe, everything started looking up. She stopped tripping and was very proud of herself for not falling as she let us know each time she got back to the golf cart. Then as we were driving to the next house, she dropped her candy bucket and the candy went everywhere on the dark road. That was a sad moment, but she got all her candy back and all was well in the candy world again.
It was nice having the golf cart. Dax sat on my lap and fell asleep while the kids had lots of fun getting their candy that I am going to have to hide pretty soon or I am going to go crazy.
