I don't know if any of you remember, but I started my pregnancy tracker count down when I had 216 days to go. At the time I thought that was pretty rediculous to start the tracker because I had such a long way to go, but I kept it up anyways. So today I looked at it and I now have 99 days to go. Where has the time gone? I think that this pregnancy is going by much quicker than the other two.
So I don't forget completely how the other pregancies went, I am going to put down a few things to remember my experiences with all my pregancies up to my 26th week. This is basically for my memory, so sorry if you get a little bored.
With Fox:
I was only sick in the morning and night, but I was sick the whole pregnancy. I think that was partly to do with brushing my teeth. The good thing about not being sick during the day was that I was working at Wells Fargo helping people with their accounts, etc... When I say it was good, I mean that with all the different smells of people that came in, I didn't ever have to run to bathroom to throw up. I remember being really nervous about that.
I don't remember anything that I craved, well I guess I craved milk because I seemed to go through it quickly, but I do remember not liking any beef. Hamburger, steak, you name, I didn't like it. I got heartburn so bad that I was finishing off a big bottle of tums from Costco every couple days. I remember trying Mylanta and that didn't help. Finally I told my doctor and was prescribed aciphex for the problem. If I had known that I could get a prescription for that, I would have told them long before I did.
With Jayde:
I again was sick in the morning and night basically the whole pregnancy. Again I think brushing my teeth was part, but only part, of the problem in feeling sick. I know it might sound wierd, but I know of others who have felt the same about brushing thier teeth while they are or were pregnant. I asked the doctor for a prescrition for aciphex on my very first appointement. I wasn't going to suffer with heartburn like I did with Fox.
I stopped working at Wells Fargo and we moved out here to Georgia during my pregnancy with Jayde, so I had to get a new doctor. I didn't like the idea of that, but it worked out good. I got pregnancy mask right in the beginning of my pregnancy with Jayde and it got worse as the time went on. I had no idea that could even happen, and I don't like it at all. Thank heavens it is going away gradually and I have so far not gotten it worse since. I didn't have any food aversions or cravings with this pregnancy.
Baby #3:
I was sick in my first trimester a lot worse than the other two. My worst time of day was just after lunch, which was strange to me because it was different than both of the other pregnancies. I still have a hard time in the mornings when I brush my teeth, but not as much as I used to, and not so much at night at all.
I again got a prescription for aciphex on my first doctor's appointment. Heartburn is not fun to have. I don't even like to think about eating my chocolate ice cream that I was addicted to for so long. Maybe 2 or 3 times since I got really sick in my first trimester and even then I didn't enjoy it that much. I also am usually a soda pop drinker, but anything carbonated made me sick for quite awhile. Too bad it still doesn't make me sick. Although with all my pregnancies to date, ice water is about the only thing that would make me feel better when I didn't and don't feel good. I usually have a big mug of ice water with me everywhere I go.
