Dax's Blessing

This last Sunday, July 26, 2009 we blessed Dax. When we got home, we tried to take pictures of him in his blessing outfit, but he was hungry and was not happy to have to wait to eat.

Of course I wanted a family picture even though the kids weren't in to it.

Shawn was in charge of the BBQ hamburgers and hotdogs.


We had lots of fun with our family members who live near.

And through all of that, Dax stayed content and asleep in his favorite place to be these days, his swing.

I tried to get a picture of everyone who was here, but for some reason I didn't get a picture of Tiffany, Corbin and Brityn, and the picture of Ashley's husband was too dark. But for memories sake, they were here also.

4th of July

We finally went to our first 4th of July parade this year. The good thing about living here is that we get to take our golf cart to the festivities. I don't know if you can see in the back ground, but there are golf carts lining the street on both sides. We started out early in the morning on our golf cart and went through Chick-fil-A drive through for breakfast and then on to the the parade we went.

We also went to see the fireworks at a little soccor field. It got too dark to get any good pictures, but here is Shawn, Dax, and Jayde waiting for the show to begin.

Dax's First Golf Cart Ride

Last Monday evening we took Dax on his first golf cart ride. I am pretty sure he had a blast!

My Grandma

Last week my grandma Mary got to come out here for a visit. It was so nice to see her and have her spend time with us.

Daddy Daughter Date

Last night Jayde got to go to the Braves game just her and dad. She was so excited to go. She kept saying, "See you later!" like dad lets get out of here before mom changes her mind. It was so cute. It is probably because I have a new baby around, but she seems to be getting so big so fast lately.



This lady Braves usher thought Jayde was the cutest thing, so she asked Shawn if she could have Jayde help her for an inning. So Jayde got to help her show people to their seats and make sure everyone was comfortable. Jayde had a great time helping.

Every time I ask her if she had fun at the game with dad last night she says she wants to go to another game.

What started out as ...

a cute wig for grandma Vicki to wear whenever she wants to,

quickly turned into fun for the rest of us.
