40th Anniversary

I am very blessed to have such wonderful parent's. They are always there for me when I need them. They have so much fun with me and my kids. They are so very helpful, kind, generous, loving, and supportive. I am grateful that I get to spend time with them often. Happy anniversary Mom and Dad. I love you more than words can say.

Dax's First MLB Game

We took Dax to his first MLB game on Friday, July 31st. Of course it was when the Dodgers were in town.

We went without Fox and Jayde. They got to stay home with Grandma Janine and Grandpa Ralph.

My sister Tammy and her husband Ryan are in town right now and they got to share in Dax's big moment.He was lovin' it.


Until he got too hot and tired.

Needless to say, Dax and I spent a lot of the game in the inside, airconditioned area they have here on the club level at turner field. (Thank heavens they have this level.) It was a very hot and humid night.

Dax's Blessing

This last Sunday, July 26, 2009 we blessed Dax. When we got home, we tried to take pictures of him in his blessing outfit, but he was hungry and was not happy to have to wait to eat.

Of course I wanted a family picture even though the kids weren't in to it.

Shawn was in charge of the BBQ hamburgers and hotdogs.


We had lots of fun with our family members who live near.

And through all of that, Dax stayed content and asleep in his favorite place to be these days, his swing.

I tried to get a picture of everyone who was here, but for some reason I didn't get a picture of Tiffany, Corbin and Brityn, and the picture of Ashley's husband was too dark. But for memories sake, they were here also.

4th of July

We finally went to our first 4th of July parade this year. The good thing about living here is that we get to take our golf cart to the festivities. I don't know if you can see in the back ground, but there are golf carts lining the street on both sides. We started out early in the morning on our golf cart and went through Chick-fil-A drive through for breakfast and then on to the the parade we went.

We also went to see the fireworks at a little soccor field. It got too dark to get any good pictures, but here is Shawn, Dax, and Jayde waiting for the show to begin.

Dax's First Golf Cart Ride

Last Monday evening we took Dax on his first golf cart ride. I am pretty sure he had a blast!
