3 Days To Go!!!

Thursday is the big day. In 3 days we will have the newest member of our family with us. I thought I would do a post about the 26th week through the end, with this pregnancy as well as about my other 2 pregnancies, like I did in February. So warning again, this may be a boring one for you all to read.

Fox:

When I was pregnant with Fox, my arms would go to sleep at night. Basically from my elbows down to the end of my finger tips. It was so bad that one of my hands was constantly numb the last 2 months or so of my pregnancy. I can't remember which hand for sure, but I think it was my left hand.

I gained 30 lbs with Fox. He was born the day after his due date. He started my c-sections because he was breach. We went in to the hospital early in the morning January 22, 2005 so the doctor could try to turn him. They got him almost turned, but when they let go, he flipped right back up. From the ultrasounds, they thought my uterus was odd shaped and didn't think that he would turn at all. So they said that we could either go home, wait, go into labor, see if he turns, but most likely would have to have an emergency c-section, or...... have the baby right then. So we chose to have him right then.

It felt like everything was in fast motion after that. They got me ready and wheeled me into the operating room. Shawn was trying to call my mom, his mom, and get ready also, but felt very overwhelmed because it was all so fast once we decided to go for it. Shawn watched the doctor pull Fox out and then also my uterus to examine it. It was a good thing he didn't faint because the anesthesiologist said that if he did, no one would help him. It was pretty crazy. He was born at 9;50 am, and was 8 pounds 11 ounces and 19 inches long.

Jayde:

My arms really didn't go numb much with Jayde if at all, but I felt like I couldn't breath very well with Jayde. I was scheduled for a c-section a week before my due date. I really thought hard about trying a vbac, but in the end chose the c-section because she was due a day or two away from Thanksgiving. So with the scheduled c-section, I knew I would have her almost a week before Thanksgiving. Also, I probably would have gone way over my due date because I didn't dilate or even thin out at all with either Fox or Jayde.

Shawn didn't watch Jayde get pulled out because he didn't know if he was allowed to stand up and watch or not. It was a new hospital and I should have asked before hand. We knew more of what to expect this time though, so it didn't feel so rushed. I gained 10 lbs with Jayde. She was born at 1:08 pm, weighed 7 pounds 3.5 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long.

With this one:

For the last week and a half my right hand has been going numb at night, and it is hurting very badly and causing me not to sleep well. I am lucky it hasn't been the last 2 months though. A week and a half I can handle. I do wonder if it is a boy thing because it did not happen with Jayde?!! The last 2 weeks about I also haven't been feeling well in the morning again. But not like in the beginning, Thank Heavens! However, I haven't been able to breath with this one as well so that is definantly not just a girl thing. I have gained 31 lbs. with this pregnancy. I know I am so ready for him to be out of me, much more than with the other two it seems. So I am glad Thursday is so close now.

Fox Baseball

The spring season of baseball has come to a close. Fox is loving baseball so much. Here he is at a little baseball trophy party.

This season we had 4 games in a row canceled because of rain. We got to make up 3 of the 4. I know Fox would like to play through the summer, but it gets so hot. However, he did get chosen for the pre-T all-star team. Those games will be in June. We can't wait. Here is a clip of one of his hits. What can I say, I am a proud momma!!!

We can't wait till Fall Ball now.

Fun Times!

We love having my mom come and visit, even if it is a quick visit. She got here Tuesday and left early this morning, Friday. So last Saturday we went to a yard sale and found this cute little 4 wheeler. Jayde can drive it pretty good. So Fox was on the hummer, Jayde was on the 4 wheeler and Grandma Janine had to get in on the action and drive the golf cart around and around our house. They all had a blast.

"Hide and Seek"

I just love how little kids play hide and seek. Fox and Boston are hiding behind this skinny little tree thinking there is no way anybody will find us here, not realizing their friend Jaxon can see them a mile away.

Braves!

It is time for baseball again. We went to the Braves game last Tuesday night. It is the first one we have been to as a family this season so far. Shawn and Fox have been to a couple more games than Jayde and I have. I guess you can say I have been a little more picky about what games to go to, but who can blame me, big and pregnant and all?! We do love to go to baseball games as a family though. So I hope this new little guy comes out liking baseball.

4 Weeks To Go!!!

Ok, so NO picture is a good picture of me these days, but I thought I would post this because in exactly 4 weeks from today our 3rd little baby is going to be with us. I am scheduled for a c-section early in the morning on May 21st, a week before my due date, May 28.

Thanks to Fox's wonderful photography skills today, I have this wonderful picture so you can see just how big I am. Yeah, I am pretty huge. I don't know how much more stretching I can take, but I know this last month this little guy is going to gain a lot more weight. I am a little frightened by that because even though you think you can't get any bigger, YOU CAN!!!
