Spring is in the air. We cleaned out our garage and the kids played outside all day. Jayde even found a PELIGATOR in the dirt. It was a great day.

February
February was a full month. It started out with a quick trip to Utah. It was a very special trip because we went with my grandma Wade through the temple for her first time.
It was also special because we celebrated my grandpa White's 91st birthday the next day.Everyone in my family was all gathered together. My cousin Debbie and her family was also there.
So 6 airplanes and 4 days later we were back home. Was it worth it? Very much so.
We also had a nice snow day here which are few and far between so Shawn and the kids had to take advantage. Soon after they got outside, the whole neighborhood had to take advantage with them.
At Fox's 5 year check up his doctor said he heard a heart murmer. He had heard it last year, but because it hadn't gone away yet, it was time to see a cardiologist. The right side of his heart beats or pumps a fraction of a second, smaller than a fraction of a second, slower than the left side. So to make sure everything is ok, he had to wear a heart monitor for 24 hours.
He was NOT happy about it and started crying at the doctor's office, but got over that quickly when I said I would take him to a candy store. Here he is posing with it on later that evening. We got the results back today and there were no abnormalities and he is just fine.
We also got a 4th child sometime in February.
Tammy, my sister, came out for a week long visit.
Fox got her to play the WII. (Her first time ever playing a game system of any kind.) Even her own kids can't get her to play. I guess Fox has that kind of charm she couldn't resist. Sorry Tyler, Braden, and Brielle.

And last, but not least, towards the end of February Dax had his 9 month checkup. He is a rather thin baby. I am not doing well in the feeding department. He is only 24 lbs 11 oz.
No seriously though, I have turned into a body builder lifting the boy. He is such a chunk. He is so hugable and loveable. 
He gets around in his own funny way. Puts everything in his mouth, including the window seal.
You would think that he crawls, but wait, he does, BACKWARDS. Hasn't gotten the forward thing down yet and gets very frustrated, but he can get from his belly to a sitting position. You would know that that is a great accomplishment if you got a good look at his belly.
It was a good and busy month.

Fox's Birthday
Last Friday Fox turned 5 years old. He loves his birthdays because it is all about HIM. Friday we celebrated with family.
Had yummy dessert.
And played with his new toys.
On Saturday he had a friend party.
Had cake and ice cream.
Had fun opening presents.
Tried to break open the unbreakable pinata.
And at last got to the good stuff.

Christmas Day
Santa came through for the kids. Fox got his batcave and most of the super heroes. However, he did forget one superhero, Spiderman. What was he thinking!!! Jayde got her twin dolls and a little doll house. Dax got a little alphabet train.
As you can probably imagine, we had a lot of fun opening presents.
Dax loves his alphabet train. Santa did good with this one.
Then we went over to Kevin's for Christmas breakfast. Here are all the grandkids piled on grandma and grandpa.
Fox was excited to give Shawn a batman shirt for his birthday a week or so before Christmas, which in turn brought him the idea to get me a "girl" batman shirt. So we all ended up getting batman shirts. So we decided to dress up for our Christmas dinner at Nikko, a Japanese restaurant my parents took us too. Yummy!!!

We had Christmas Eve dinner at our house. My mom, dad, Kevin and his family, and Trent all came over for what was sure to be a good time. Here are all the adults playing Dip Dip Dip. Shawn is worried that our neighbors might think we are crazy.

Santa!!!
Santa decided to stop by our house today to visit our kids. I love that Santa came to us and we didn't have to find him at a mall or some other place to stand in line and wait for hours. We have a wonderful home teacher who happens to have a santa outfit, who happens to have made an appointment to see us today, who happens to have gotten suckered in to visiting us as 'SANTA'. THANK YOU Kelly!!! It was so great of you.
He is so happy to see Santa. He didn't like the looks of one that we got a glimpse of in Dillard's last night. He just didn't look real, but this one must look real.
Here Jayde is telling Santa she wants a cute little purple bike and a dollhouse.
She was in awe that Santa was here and couldn't keep her eyes off of him.
Dax was just happy to be here. He is such a happy baby.
Here Fox is with his mile long list that he seems to keep adding to on an hourly basis. I told him Santa can't bring that much stuff, but here is for hoping for miracle or something! The main thing he wants is a batman cave and all the super heros. We will see if Santa remembers.
