Christmas Day

Santa came through for the kids. Fox got his batcave and most of the super heroes. However, he did forget one superhero, Spiderman. What was he thinking!!! Jayde got her twin dolls and a little doll house. Dax got a little alphabet train. As you can probably imagine, we had a lot of fun opening presents.

Dax loves his alphabet train. Santa did good with this one.
Then we went over to Kevin's for Christmas breakfast. Here are all the grandkids piled on grandma and grandpa.

Fox was excited to give Shawn a batman shirt for his birthday a week or so before Christmas, which in turn brought him the idea to get me a "girl" batman shirt. So we all ended up getting batman shirts. So we decided to dress up for our Christmas dinner at Nikko, a Japanese restaurant my parents took us too. Yummy!!!

We had a good time playing with all our fun new things. Especially the WII. Thanks grandma Vicki and grandpa Art.

Christmas Eve

We had Christmas Eve dinner at our house. My mom, dad, Kevin and his family, and Trent all came over for what was sure to be a good time. Here are all the adults playing Dip Dip Dip. Shawn is worried that our neighbors might think we are crazy. We decorated sugar cookies for Santa.
The fun just never stopped.

Fox, Dax, and Jayde getting ready to open their Christmas Eve gift. Wouldn't you know it, a pair of pajamas.
We all got pajamas that night.

December Pictures

A little photo shoot in front of our Christmas tree sometime in December.

While we were decorating for Christmas Dax was sitting in a chair watching with his Santa hat on.

Santa!!!

Santa decided to stop by our house today to visit our kids. I love that Santa came to us and we didn't have to find him at a mall or some other place to stand in line and wait for hours. We have a wonderful home teacher who happens to have a santa outfit, who happens to have made an appointment to see us today, who happens to have gotten suckered in to visiting us as 'SANTA'. THANK YOU Kelly!!! It was so great of you.

Here Fox is with his mile long list that he seems to keep adding to on an hourly basis. I told him Santa can't bring that much stuff, but here is for hoping for miracle or something! The main thing he wants is a batman cave and all the super heros. We will see if Santa remembers.
He is so happy to see Santa. He didn't like the looks of one that we got a glimpse of in Dillard's last night. He just didn't look real, but this one must look real.
Here Jayde is telling Santa she wants a cute little purple bike and a dollhouse.
She was in awe that Santa was here and couldn't keep her eyes off of him.

Dax was just happy to be here. He is such a happy baby.

Jayde is 3

Tuesday was Jayde's 3rd birthday. I asked Jayde what she wanted to do for her special day, but she didn't have anything specific in mind. So I asked her if she wanted to do her hair. I was shocked she excitedly said YEAH! After we got her all dolled up she got a phone call from Grandma. She loves talking on the phone. She loves to get her fingernails and toenails painted, so I suggested we do that and she also wanted to paint mine.
Finally it came time for presents. Here she is anxiously waiting to open them. If she loves anything, it is dolls.

And frosting.

We love this girl. She is so much fun. Just listening to her talk is fun. She is growing up too fast.

Sketchers!!!

For the past 4 months Fox has wanted Sketchers in a bad way. After 2 months of begging for them, I thought to myself, 'he is never going to give this up.' So I decided he could earn the money for them. Well 2 months of hard work finally paid off. Here is his chart for earning enough money to get the sketchers.
Here he is picking out the Sketchers he just HAD TO HAVE!!!
Ready to go pay for them.
This picture just does my heart good. He is so proud to be able to pay for his shoes all by himself.
He is now the proud owner of his very own SKETCHERS!
Fox is so excited about his Sketchers. He did a little kick dance showing off his shoes to his grandma and grandpa, cousins and aunt Tiffany. He also asked grandpa Ralph if he wanted some sketchers too. Grandpa, making Fox feel good, said yeah, I want some. So Fox told him he would make a CHORT for him to earn the money to get some. Fox also set his sketchers by grandpa while he was working on our door frame so that grandpa could look at them while he did his work. I guess that was to give grandpa a little incentive to get some work done.
